Over one thousand and nine hundred people in the Highlands of Navosa have so far been vaccinated as the numbers of confirmed cases of typhoid in the Highlands increases.
Health Ministry spokesperson, Iliesa Tora confirms that 150 suspected cases were detected in Navosa in the past five days and as of Friday close to 2000 people have so far undergone vaccination programs.
He added that the Ministry is hoping to complete the vaccination programs on the typhoid outbreak in the highlands of Navosa by next week.
