Discussions at the Food Symposium yesterday by the six groups tasked to look into the growth of the agriculture sector all agreed that land remains the main issue to be looked into.

Permanent Secretary for Agriculture Colonel Mason Smith said the six discussion groups discussed ways to develop an action oriented approach to capitalize on opportunities in Fiji's resource based sectors, and they returned with more than 130 recommendations.

Smith said altogether there were nine common issues which were raised by all the groups, the main one being land.
