More than 130 senior church ministers, deacons and members of the secretariat of the Methodist church of Fiji will meet with Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama next Wednesday.

Acting general secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra said the church has been waiting for this opportunity to meet with the Prime Minister.

Nawadra said one issue which is a concern to the church leaders is the lack of communications between the church leaders and the members of the flock.

He said with the strict regulations that were in place against the church meetings, Nawadra said communications with the members is a problem.

The meeting is expected to be held on Wednesday at the Centenary church.
