In the two weeks since the extension of Land Transport Authority trading hours, more than a 100 thousand dollars has been collected as more people have had an extra hour to access services.

Acting CEO Aseri Radrodro said they've collected 107 thousand 401 dollars from extending trading hours Monday to Friday from 3.30 to 4.30 and Saturdays from 8.30am to 1pm.

Radrodro also said the Authority is currently review other business practices adding that an area being carefully considered is the issuance of taxi permits and rural service license permits.

He added that they would like to change the practices of the past and allow for people to get equal access to services and permits and not just on a who you know basis.
