Ovalau 15s rugby player Ulaiasi Vosaicake has been suspended for six months.

The Fiji Rugby Union Games Committee suspended Vosaicake for six months after he was red carded, for the second time this season, for punching an opponent during Ovalau’s Digicel Cup round 5 fixture against Nadi.

Vosaicake had previously been red carded in round one for the same offence when Ovalau hosted major union newcomers, Macuata.

In the most recent incident against Nadi, it is understood the offence took place immediately after the final whistle.

Vosaicake is banned from all levels of rugby until 3 October, 2011.
