The Public Service Commission said the first phase of work on the outsourcing of public services has already begun.
Chairman Rishi Ram said advertisements are out calling for tenders and the Public Works Department is the first one in line.
Ram said the Health Ministry is also looking at outsourcing some of its departments mainly the laundry and cleaning services however he said the process will take some time as the first phase involves a lot of paperwork.
