Expanding the private sector role in public health care delivery through outsourcing will not be profitable and will be costly for those who have to pay for services.
These are the words of Fiji Nursing Association General Secretary Kuini Lutua also said the contents of the draft People's Charter are not new adding that a legitimate government is needed to follow through with such proposals.
As part of Pillar 10 in the draft People's Charter on Improving Health Service Delivery, a key measure which the National Council for Building A Better Fiji said must take place is the expanding of the private sector role in public health care delivery through outsourcing.
