Government agencies are yet to carry out on the ground surveys of the damages caused by Tropical Cyclone Mick in a number of outer islands due to transportation difficulties.
Acting Director DISMAC Pajiliai Dobui said teams were still out in the field late last night while another team will be dispatched to Kadavu and Beqa this morning.
Dobui added that they hope to have the final damage assessment report and the costs of damage by Thursday or early next week after the Christmas long weekend.
