With just over an hour to go before the gates open at the Vodafone Arena for the Katchafire Redemption Tour with a Tribute to Bob Marley, lead vocalist Logan Bell said the concert here is special as they will also be paying tribute to the man which gave them inspiration to be where they are today.
Meanwhile organizers Total Event company Manager Loretta Jackson said the sound will be phenomenal
Jackson also has stressed that they will be working closely with police to ensure a safe and fun evening for everyone at the Vodafone Arena tonight.
Police Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the Police Ready Action Unit together with its Drug and Dog Unit will step up security so that reggae fans enjoy a night of live music tonight.
Sokomuri said the police operations will be out in full force for the safety of the general public and warns that police won=t hesitate to arrest anyone found in possession of drugs or caught trying to stir any sort of trouble.
He pleads with parents and guardians, planning a family night out to monitor their children carefully.
Katchafire are being brought into the country by Communications Fiji Limited the parent company of Legend FM, FM96, VitiFM, Radio Sargam, Navtarang, Total Event Company and CinemAds.
The Katchafire Redemption Tour with a Tribute to Bob Marley will be held at the Vodafone Arena tonight with gates opening in the next hour.
Tickets are on sale at the Home of Legend FM at 231 Waimanu Road Suva, and will also be available at the Vodafone Arena Gates.
