The Fiji Labour Party has started its own consultations on the Draft People's Charter with the grass roots peoples.
Party Spokesperson Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi said while the FLP strong believes in the contents of the draft charter, they will not force people to support it and following their consultation, the FLP will then make an official stand on the charter.
This is after interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama's plea last night to political party leaders and those opposing the draft Charter to join the process now.
