New Zealand 7's rugby coach Gordon Tietjens believes the standard of 7's rugby played in the IRB 7's series has lifted to a level that has never been experienced.
Tietjens said past results in the last two legs of the series shows that other teams are on par with the heavy-weight of 7's rugby.
For Fiji coach Iliesa Tanivula after a dismal performance in his last 3 outing where he has failed to go past the quarter finals, He hopes he will break the jinx this time.
Tanivula who is just 2 months old in the job is still learning how to be the best in the game and has faith his players will deliver the results this weekend.
Fiji will open their Hong Kong 7's campaign against Chinese Taipei tomorrow at 8.52pm.
