Former Suva rugby player Patrick Osborne will start for Canterbury in the ITM Cup final against Wellington tonight.
Tom Taylor, Adam Whitelock, Ryan Crotty, Tyler Bleyendaal, Andy Ellis, George Whitelock and Luke Whitelock are other big names in the staring lineup for Canterbury.
Meanwhile, after 12 years of near misses and regret, the new breed of Wellington Lions rugby team has been urged to “break the cycle”.
Wellington coach Chris Boyd said they will get their big bullies going forward, with the likes of Brad Shields and Victor Vito while first five-eighth Lima Sopoaga will be the key player.
The Canterbury and Wellington match kicks off at 6.30 tonight.
