Chiefs winger Patrick Osborne will spend the next two years with the Highlanders.
Speaking to Fijivillage from New Zealand Osborne said he is looking forward to helping out one of the worst performing team in this season's Super Rugby.
The former Queen Victoria School and Jai Rarayan College student added he was approached by the Highlanders a few weeks ago.
Osborne also has a special message to the QVS Under 18 rugby side and that is to bring the Coke Zero Deans Trophy home.
Meanwhile, the Deans Tier One semifinals will be held at Prince Charles Park this Saturday.
