The Fijian‑born finisher has been sidelined since Canterbury's fourth round, although he was named in the run‑on side that hosted Taranaki at AMI Stadium on September 27.
Osborne ultimately pulled out during the warm‑ups and the 28‑year‑old's painstaking recovery became a regular, and usually light‑hearted.
