Fiji born wingers, Patrick Osborne and Waisake Naholo were in devastating form last night scoring a try each as their Highlanders side beat the Waratahs 26-19 in the Super Rugby.
The Highlanders ended the first half with a bang when Malakai Fekitoa ripped the ball from Israel Folau before Waisake Naholo ran away for a super try just before the hooter to put his team ahead.
Patrick Osborne who was named man of the match was at the heart of what proved to be their bonus point try, starting with a break up the left touchline and finishing it with a step and acceleration down by the right.
This morning, the Chiefs inflicted the Stormers' first defeat of the Super Rugby season, winning 28‑19 in Cape Town.
In a pulsating encounter, the former champions outscored their hosts three tries to one with fly‑half Aaron Cruden chipping in with 18 points, scoring a try and setting up another along the way.
The result moves the Chiefs level with the Hurricanes at the top of the New Zealand conference, two points behind the tournament‑leading Brumbies in the overall standings.
In other matches, the Sharks beat the Cheetahs 27‑10, the Brumbies crushed the Reds 29‑0 while the Crusaders beat the Lions 34‑6.
