Fiji Sports Council CEO Litiana Loabuka says the organizers of the Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s were aware of the condition of the ground at Lawaqa Park.
After the tournament last weekend, a lot of players and coaches raised their concerns regarding the condition of the ground which has affected some players’ performance.
Loabuka says works at Lawaqa Park was supposed to be completed by the end of February.
Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast Sevens tournament organiser Nick Jordan says the ground needed improvement on the final day of the tournament.
