Organizers of the Annual Village street Party have reassured the public that security will not something to worry about.
Speaking to Village news, Total Event Company Director, Loretta Jackson said that taking into account the record number of people expected at the street party, security will be beefed up.
She said private security and police will be around to ensure that people can herald in the New Year without problems.
The Village street party will be held in Victoria Parade and it starts at 8 in the evening on Monday.
