Organisers astounded with Katchafire public response
Total event Company manager Loretta Jackson said that with reggae cutting across to all age and race, many have come forward to be able to be a part of the one off Katchafire Concert.
New Zealand based roots reggae band, Katchafire will be in the country tommorrow for their one off concert on Saturday and will also be paying a tribute to Bob Marlet.
Jackson added that if you are planning to wait until Saturday, take advantage of the time.
And the excitement is not lost on the band. Fijivillage news spoke with Logan Bell the manager and lead vocalist for the band said excitement is already building up.
The New Zealand based band, Katchafire which started in 1997 has been rated as one of the world's best Bob Marley tribute bands and will be in Fiji for a one off concert this Saturday.
The Katchafire Redemption Tour with a tribute to Bob Marley will be held this Saturday at the Vodafone Arema with gates opening at 6pm.
Tickets are on sale at the home of Fijivillage at 231 Waimanu Road in Suva, at SPR outlets in Suva and Nadi as well as at the Sugarcane Growers council Building in Lautoka.
