We are just one day away from celebrating Earth Hour in Fiji and many organisations, hotels and town and city councils are gearing up for the event.
The General Manager for Accor Group of Hotels, Rhys (as in ris) Challenger said they are fully supporting earth hour by involving all their staff and visitors as well.
Meanwhile the Administrator for Savusavu town Council, Vijay Chand said 58 business houses and organisations have joined hands to raise awareness about earth hour.
Earth Hour starts at 8.30 tomorrow night for an hour and WWF is calling on people to switch off all non essential lights to reduce global warming.
