The Fiji Water Foundation has come on board to help "The Good Neighbour International" in Suva which focuses on providing grass root assistance wherever it is needed.

Foundation Manager Molly Powers said that they are passionate about development and change that starts within a community and it is inspiring to see the lasting positive changes the Good Neighbour International is making in people's lives.

The Organisation's services include a Suva based shelter for women, kids, families and people who have nowhere to turn.

Reverand Paul Ramswarup said that they have woman staying at their Wainimala Centre who was severely abused, neglected by her family, passed around various social welfare organisation and was treated as useless. However he said that after staying with them, the woman does all her work herself and works hard on the farm. He said the woman has found peace and compassion in her life.

The Organisation has also received $29,600 grant from the Fiji Water Foundation with which they have been able to improve four of their local resource centers around the country.
