The Ministry of Education is continuing its survey of schools in flood affected areas and the Interim Minister remains optimistic that all schools will be able to open on January 26th as planned.
Filipe Bole said they are assessing reports continuously and requests for any assistance will be provided through re-directing funds from within the Ministry.
However, Bole said they will keep the option of deferring the open of certain schools depending on the assessments and damages sustained.
