The Fiji National Provident Fund is now exploring options to merge the Grand Pacific Hotel project with the Holiday Inn as it moves ahead to try and complete some major investments of members funds.
FNPF Chairman Taito Waqa confirmed to Fijivillage they are now actively looking at this option due to the increased competition for development at the Suva foreshore.
Waqa also stressed that the FNPF is putting in new governance measures to ensure that its investments in other resort projects are completed as soon as possible with saving of members funds.
The FNPF Chairman said an announcement on these major investments is expected in the next few months.
