Thousands of students and people going to work in Nadi have been affected due to the suspension of bus service by Dominion Transport Limited this morning.
Advisory Councilor Bala Dass said residents living between Nadi Town and Momi Bay are facing difficulties in reaching their destinations.
Malolo resident Diresh Pillay said they were waiting by the roadside since 6 this morning and were informed that the bus services have been stopped.
Fiji Bus Operators Association President Pyara Singh said from information they have received this morning it is understood the Dominion Transport Services had suspended its services as they are finding difficulties in making loan repayments in light of the increased fuel prices.
