The District of Ono-I-Lau in the Lau group aims to purchase a piece of land to host the Tikina House and other developments in Suva.
Advisor to the District of Ono-i-Lau, Anare Jale said last year they were able to launch the Ono-i-Lau 20 year Development Plan and the members have been very supportive.
Jale said the Ono Day which is currently held in the Valelevu Grounds will aim at showcasing arts and culture from the women of Ono and also sells the products today.
