The top 8 teams when the Digicel Cup competition ends in the last week of July will have the green light to compete for the prestigious Farebrother Sullivan trophy this year.

The new format, which will come into effect this season, sees the top 8 teams in the points standing table challenge the Farebrother Sullivan trophy from Nadi starting on the 29th of August.

Before the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) adopted a double header system to give all of the 12 major unions, a chance of laying their hands on the Farebrother trophy.

This weekend there will be no Digicel Cup games but it will continue next weekend.
