As Indian High Commissioner to Fiji Professor Prabhakar Jha prepares to leave office, he has stressed that the international community must allow Fiji to resolve its problems without outside interference.
Speaking to Fijivillage news, Professor Jha said he has stressed time and time again, that only Fiji can solve its problems and no one else.
Professor Jha said his government stands ready with a blank cheque to assist Fiji with the preparations for elections in 2014.
Professor Jha, who took up office on September 2007 leaves Fiji next month after his tenure as High Commissioner comes to an end and he confirmed that he will now retire and enjoy a civilian life.
