Only 29 players from the 35 member national soccer team squad that was announced on Monday are in the list submitted to FASANOC.

In a press conference today, FASANOC President Vidya Larkhan said that Fiji FA has submitted a total of 57 names to the board of management last night and they have to name their best 21 players on the 25th of June.

Players like Sandeep Nair, Pranil Chand, Rajnil Chand, Pene Erenio, Remeuru Takiata and Jone Salauneune are in the 35 member team but not in the list which is now with FASANOC.

Larkhan added that the final 21 players for the Pacific Games will have to come from the list which was approved last night.

The Pacific Games will start on the 27th of August.
