Close to three weeks after Cyclone Gene hit the Fiji group, the Department of Roads confirms that only one road remains closed to all traffic.

The Balevuto road in Ba due to a washout remains closed. Meanwhile, most of the other roads around the country have been declared open and safe to travel.

However, for those living in Wailevu West in Savusavu, bus services are expected to normalise this weekend.

DISMAC director, Joeli Rokovada had earlier told Village that with heavy rainfall and flooding, road repairing works are likely to cost more than $10 million dollars.
