Do you know how much you contribute to global warming when you leave your TV on all night?

Earth hour, an initiative by WWF, raises awareness as people contribute a lot to climate change through their use of electricity.

Electricity comes from burning fossil fuels, oil and coal, releasing carbon dioxide which traps heat from the sun, warming up the earth's temperature.

As a result we have rising sea levels, flooding and a temperature jump in the sea which leads to coral bleaching.

Dale Withington, the South Pacific Program Director for WWF said one hour is a very symbolic time.
