Ben Ryan’s Olympics selection could be tougher with overseas based players showing their determination to also be included in the final 12 for Rio next year.

Last week, Vodafone Flying Fijians lock Leone Nakarawa again showed his brilliance after setting up two tries for the Glasgow Warriors when they defeated Josh Matavesi’s Ospreys 31-19 in the PRO 12 competition.

Nakarawa came back from his World Cup heroics to inspire the Warriors to a win and was the Man of the Match again after receiving the award last week.

Nakarawa says that he will continue to work hard.

Former Waratahs winger Taqele Naiyaravoro scored a try after coming off the bench in the second half.

Meanwhile Ben Ryan will be announcing his 16 member squad for the Dubai 7s after the Nukubati Resort Macuata Youth Provincial 7s this Thursday in Labasa.

Ryan will be fielding two Fiji teams to participate in the tournament which will also have other big teams such as Wardens Gold and Green, Police, Army Green and First Light Taveuni.

The final 12 players will be named on the 19th of this month.

The Nukubati Resort Macuata Youth Provincial 7s will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Subrail Park in Labasa.
