The Suva Olympic Pool is now open again after two years of renovations and people can enjoy the facilities located in the heart of Suva.
Minister for Local Government, Colonel Samuela Saumatua said this has been a land mark of Suva which was first opened in 1935 and sea water and fresh water was used.
Colonel Saumatua said the pool was also the venue of international swimming competitions and swimming classes.
Meanwhile Suva City's Special Administrator Chandu Umaria said $600,000 was spent by the council to renovate the Olympic Pool.
