The Fiji Under 23 soccer team have failed to represent the Oceania region in the London Olympics again after they lost to hosts New Zealand 1-0 in the OFC Olympic Qualifiers final yesterday afternoon.
New Zealand managed to score in the 18th minute of the 1st half through a penalty when Ilisoni Tuinawaivuvu hand balled in the penalty box.
The penalty conversion was successful by New Zealand.
Fiji tried very hard to level the scores however player’s attempts could not find the back of the net.
