Old scholars to converge at Cawaci
One of the ex scholar delegations will be led by Tonga Prime Minister, Dr Feleti Sevele who will be attending the two day meet with his family.
This has been confirmed by St John's College Principal, Fr Ekuasi Manu who said ex pupils from around the world are expected to attend with preparations already underway for the meet.
Manu said the reunion is also an opportunity for the past scholars to renew their ties with the school and help in any way they can with its operations.
St John's Cawaci, run by the Marist priests, sisters and brothers was one of the oldest Catholic schools in the country starting in 1893 and which taught people like Tonga PM Sevele, Catholic Church Head, Archbishop Petero Mataca, former Police Commissioner Romanu Tikotikoca amongst others.
The Reunion starts this Friday.
