Former National soccer rep Samson Jimmy Okete has picked Ba, Lautoka, Nadi and Rewa as one of the top teams to clinch the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants title when the dust settles at the Prince Charles Park on Sunday.
Okete who is well remembered for scoring a goal against Australia at Buckhurst Park in 1977 said this year’s BOG will be more competitive than previous tournaments.
Okete who played for Rewa from 1975 to 1984 said it will come down to the wire on Saturday when teams will battle it hard to book a spot for the semi-finals.
The BOG officially starts this Thursday with Lautoka playing the first match at 5.30pm against Nadroga.

In the first round of matches that were played on Sunday, Rewa beat Ba 2-1, Lautoka beat Nasinu 2-0, Labasa and Navua drew 0-0 while Suva and Nadroga drew 1-1.
