The official government vehicle transporting the First Lady, Sarote Konrote, tumbled at Berkeley Crescent near Government House at about 9.30 this morning.
The Office of the President has confirmed that the First Lady and a staff member who was accompanying her were not physically injured.
The office says the driver was also not injured.
He too is undergoing a thorough medical check.
The President’s Office says the Fiji Police Force is conducting an investigation.
An assessment on the extent of damage to the official vehicle is also being conducted.
