Officers from Crimes Proactive Unit have managed to arrest a prisoner who escaped from Korovou prison last month.
Assistant Police spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita confirmed that the arrest was made at a house in Jittu Estate, Raiwaqa this morning following a tip off.
The prisoner Viliame Gauna was a remand prisoner at Korovou Prison.
Gauna is now in Police Custody.
