Close to 20 officers from the Ready Action Unit from Police have been manning two check points set up at Nasova for the political party meeting today.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita said they have beefed up security as the interim Prime Minister is attending the meeting.
The Checkpoint is at the junction of Nasova and Queen Elizabeth drive and one is at the entrance to the Police Academy.
