With a lot of focus now on ensuring that Suva is declared a Crime Free City this month, Commissioner of Police Esala Teleni has allowed annual leave to officers for this Christmas.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said that Commissioner Teleni had given his approval to the Officers as there is enough man-power for this Festive Season.
When asked whether this will affect operations, Sokomuri said they have plans in place to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Last year, Officers were refused their annual leave.
