Two police officers based at the Valelevu Police Station are under investigation for alleged Rape.
Director Operations, SSP Waisea Tabakau has confirmed the two have been suspended from the Force so that an independent investigation can be carried out.
It has been established that the alleged incident took place a few weeks ago when the two were on duty.
It is alleged that the two picked up the girl in a police vehicle and took her to Colo-I-Suva Forest Park where the alleged rape occurred.
A security officer who saw the police officers in uniform, reported the matter to police.
