A 33 year old police officer charged with Causing Death by Dangerous driving and causing serious bodily harm was remanded in custody by the Valelevu Magistrates court this morning.
Sakiusa Bulivorovoro was charged with causing the death of 14 year old Ateca Katonivere in Khalsa road on Friday morning.
Her 10 year old brother who also sustained serious injuries is still admitted at the CWM hospital.
Sakiusa's lawyer Savenaca Komai made bail application and a ruling on the application will be made tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the driver of the private vehicle which was involved in a fatal accident in Veisari, Lami on Saturday night is admitted at the CWM hospital. 38 year old Semiti Molilevu who was standing on the road with his friends died instantly.
