Next month’s Oceania Olympic qualifying tournament has been moved from Fiji to New Zealand because of an ongoing legal dispute between the Oceania Football Confederation and Fiji government.

The tournament will be played at Taupo on New Zealand’s North Island from March 16th-25th.

The OFC said the first phase of Oceania qualifying, due to be played in Fiji in June, will also be moved if the Fijian Government does not drop contempt of court charges against OFC general secretary Tai Nicholas.

Teams participating in the tournament are New Zealand, Fiji, American Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu with the winner qualifying for London.
