The Fiji Islands Hotel and Tourism Association believes that the occupancy for hotel guests has not been at its peak for the last three months.
However President of the Association Dixon Seeto said they have continued their promotional programmes in Australia and New Zealand.
He added tourists bookings are expected to increase during other countries winter season in May.
Meanwhile, five star hotels in Denarau including the Sheraton and the Sofitel have an occupancy rate of 60-70 percent this month.
