The Oceania Football Confederation has opted to remain silent on the matter regarding Lautoka striker, Osea Vakatalesau whereby he joined Papua New Guinea based Hekari United without applying for his International Transfer clearance.

OFC's Head of Media and Communications, Priscilla Duncan said this matter is in the hands of Lautoka and Fiji Football.

Fiji FA Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said if Lautoka refuses to provide Vakatalesau's ITC then the striker will not be able to play for Hekari United in the Fifa club World cup.

Lautoka soccer President, Shalendra Prasad had earlier stated that Vakatalesau flew to PNG without advising team officials and he could face suspension this Saturday for ongoing disciplinary issues.
