John O’Connor has officially stepped down as a board member of the Fiji Rugby Union after his appointment as their new CEO.
O’Connor and Carl Cameroon were the two board members that applied for the position of CEO.
He will take up his new appointment on the 1st of February next year.
O’Connor was also the Chairman of the Suva Rugby Union and is also the current National Fire Authority CEO.
He replaces Radrodro Tabualevu who was only a few months in the position.
