The first round of National Soccer League matches will come to an end this weekend but the O-league nominee will not be confirmed until the full round of matches are completed.

In previous years the team which was on top of the points table after the first round of matches was nominated but the Fiji Football Association has changed the rules this time around.

Labasa currently leads the points table with 25 points while Ba is second with 18 points.

On the current track, the Babasiga Lions look like favorites to win the league but the Northerners will have to maintain the winning streak in the second round.

Labasa takes on Navua this Saturday at Subrail Park.

In other National Soccer League matches this weekend, Rewa plays Suva, Lautoka is up against Tavua while Savusavu will host Navua.
