It has been confirmed by Director Health Services Central Eastern, Dr Salanieta Saketa, 22 striking nurses in total had returned to work with 30 retired nurses brought in to help in the Central Eastern Division.
At Labasa Hospital, five nurses have returned to work while 25 nurses are still on strike, in Taveuni, 20 nurses are strike and 12 have returned to work.
Three nurses have returned to work in Savusavu hospital while 35 are still on strike.
In Nabouwalu nursing station none have returned to work. All 14 are still on strike.
