The number of teams taking part in the Digicel Suva 7s team has been decreased from 64 to 56 teams.

Suva Rugby Union chairman Vilikesa Rauca said they have decided to reduce the number of clubs taking part because they want all of the pool games tomorrow to be played at the TFL Stadium.

Rauca added this will not affect their plans as all of the 56 teams will walk away with cash prizes after the finals on Saturday.

Army Green as the top club in Suva has been seeded as the number 1 team in the tournament which also have other sides like Sandhill, Ratu Filise, Police, Waimanu, Wardens which will have most of the national reps, Nasinu and the Nabua team.

The Digicel Suva 7s will kick off tomorrow at 9.30am with the opening match between Army One and Wardens Two.
