A number of pawn shops in Suva were raided this week and police confiscated a large number of items which are believed to have been stolen during major robberies.
Assistant Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said they conducted the raid after receiving a tip off and some of the items that were confiscated include jewellery, Laptops, Digital cameras and some other expensive items.
All the items that were confiscated are now at the Valelevu Police Station and police are calling on people who were robbed to come forward and see if it belongs to them.
