The Fiji Nursing Association said there is nothing wrong when politicians show support at the various picketing FNA sites around the country.
Lutua was reacting to concerns raised that the strike could be seen as a political move as a number of politicians connected with the ousted SDL government have been seen at the strike centers.
A few politicians like Mere Samisoni, Ilaitia Tuisese, Isireli Leweniqila and Kenneth Zinck visited the nurses this week.
Meanwhile Bainimarama said the move by the politicians is nothing new and they are being monitored.
