The New Zealand government states that it has not received anything official as yet on the possible expulsion of the Acting NZ High Commissioner to Fiji, Caroline McDonald.
While a senior interim government official confirmed to Fijivillage News that McDonald would be informed about her expulsion from Fiji today, the John Key led government is now playing a wait and see game.
Meanwhile another TVNZ reporter has arrived in Fiji after the deportation of TVNZ journalist, Barbara Dreaver.

The Australian High Commissioner to Fiji is mum on the current impasse between the Fiji and New Zealand government regarding the reported expulsion of Acting High Commissioner Caroline McDonald.
James Batley said at the moment there has been no official decision made on the matter and its best to wait for the outcome.
Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama who is in the Bose Ni Turaga at QEB is expected to comment later on the issue.
